AquaChef Support Documentation
It is likely your simply missing a step in the programming instructions.
Please be sure to complete ALL of step #2 on page 4. A very common step hobbyists leave out of the programming schedule – at each timer interval you must also program the feeder to how much you want to feed. The feeder hopper can rotate once or twice – but it must be programmed by you. If you skip this step, the feed hopper will not rotate during your programmed interval.
Gently pull the hopper (rotating part of the feeder) away from the base-there may be some resistance. Once the hopper is off lay it down on the counter and fill with food through the hole in the back of the hopper (covered with round rubber disc). Once filled, place the hopper back onto the body of the feeder and adjust the amount of food desired to be dispensed.
The feed hopper may be removed and rinsed with freshwater. Do not use any detergents when cleaning the hopper. Allow the hopper to air dry thoroughly before refilling with food and placing back in operation.
