Can the Orbit Marine IC be used on freshwater aquariums?
Yes but we do not recommend them for planted aquariums. They work well for African Cichlid tanks and other deeper fish only aquariums.
Is the Orbit Marine IC LED light waterproof?
No.The Orbit IC LED light is IP65 water resistant, but it is not waterproof.It is important to keep the LED light clean from any salt creep or moisture to prevent corrosion.
What type of coral can I grow with the Orbit Marine IC?
One Orbit Marine IC will support soft coral and LPS corals. If you plan to keep SPS or Clams, we suggest using two Orbit IC’s.
